“I’m so excited to be working with Tim again,” said Barr. “He’s a great friend and a great comedian, and I know we’re going to have a lot of fun together.”

Allen said he was “thrilled” to be joining the show. “I’ve always been a fan of Roseanne’s work,” he said. “She’s a true original, and I’m honored to be a part of her new project.”

The show will reportedly be a family comedy that will follow Roseanne and her family as they navigate life in middle America.

Allen’s Return to Fox

Allen’s return to Fox marks a comeback for the actor, who was fired from ABC’s Last Man Standing in 2017 after he made a controversial tweet about Valarie Jarrett, a former advisor to President Barack Obama.

Allen later apologized for the tweet, but ABC stood by their decision to fire him.

Reactions to Allen’s Casting

News of Allen’s casting has been met with mixed reactions. Some fans are happy to see Allen back on television, while others are concerned about his past comments.

“I’m so glad Tim Allen is back on TV,” said one fan on Twitter. “He’s one of the funniest actors around.”

Another fan, however, expressed concern about Allen’s past behavior. “I’m not sure if I can support this show,” they wrote. “I don’t want to support someone who has said such hateful things.”

What to Expect from the New Show

It remains to be seen how Allen’s casting will affect the reception of the new show. However, given the popularity of Home Improvement, there is no doubt that there is an audience for a new sitcom starring Allen and Barr.

Only time will tell if the show will be a success, but it is sure to be one of the most talked-about shows of the fall season.
