The CRS-29 mission will deliver approximately 6,500 pounds of supplies, research, and hardware to the space station. The cargo includes food, water, clothing, and other essential supplies for the crew, as well as equipment for scientific experiments and technology demonstrations.

Some of the research launching on the CRS-29 mission includes:

  • ILLUMA-T: This experiment will test laser communication technology that could provide enhanced data communication capabilities on the space station and other spacecraft.
  • Atmosphere-Space Interactions Monitor (ASIM): This instrument will measure atmospheric waves and turbulence, which can affect spacecraft and satellites.
  • Spaceborne Cloud Aerosol Lidar and Pathfinder Spectrometer (SCALES): This instrument will measure clouds and aerosols in the Earth's atmosphere.
