The Starlink satellites are part of SpaceX's ambitious plan to build a global broadband internet constellation. Once complete, the constellation will provide high-speed internet access to users around the world.

The launch on Sunday went off without a hitch, with the Falcon 9 rocket successfully delivering the satellites to orbit. The first stage of the rocket also landed successfully on a SpaceX drone ship in the Pacific Ocean.

SpaceX has now launched over 4,900 Starlink satellites into orbit, and the company has permission to deploy up to 12,000 of the craft. The company has already begun offering Starlink internet service to users in select parts of the world, and it plans to expand its coverage to more regions in the coming months.
