Teslas NEW INSANE $15000 House For Sustainable Living

Thursday, June 23, 2022 | Chimniii Desk
As of May 20, 2022, the United States is in the middle of a severe housing shortage, making it hard for the average American to afford a home. According to the Census Bureau, building permits for new residential construction dropped to a five-month low in April.

It doesn't look like the conditions will improve soon, but Elon Musk and Tesla might just have a way to solve that problem. The answer is a tiny sustainable living house that costs less than a Model 3.

Tesla already has a massive percentage of the electric vehicle industry and has started selling sustainable living products like the Solar Roof and Powerwall that collects and stores clean energy. Elon Musk has his hands in every industry. And with the sustainable living home, the housing shortage crisis might be coming to an end in the United States!

What is Tesla Energy?

On April 30, 2015, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the company would be using the battery technology it has developed for electric cars in a home energy storage known as the Powerwall. Tesla still builds electric cars and remains the best in the EV market. But in recent years, it branched into the renewable energy industry and birthed the idea of the sustainable living house.

Taking care of our environment is a serious issue, and Musk sees that it's not just about driving electric cars. Living in a low-cost, affordable, green home like Tesla's sustainable living house is another way to help the environment. Tesla Energy is the clean energy subsidiary of Tesla Incorporation. It is headquartered in Fremont, California. It develops, manufactures, sells, and installs battery energy storage products, photovoltaic solar energy generation systems, and other related products and services to every customer, including industrial and commercial customers.

Tesla Energy has power generation products, including solar panels that are manufactured for it by other companies. The Tesla Solar Roof and the Tesla Solar Inverter, in addition to the Powerwall, Powerpack, and Megapack, are all sustainable living products made available to its customers.

In 2021, Tesla Energy deployed solar energy systems capable of generating 355 megawatts, 60% better than what it generated in 2020. It has also deployed 3.99 gigawatts-hours of battery energy storage products, an increase of 32% over 2020. Tesla's sustainable living house is the newest product on the block.

From putting electric cars in every garage to solar panel roofs on every house, Musk is looking to create products to ensure that our little blue planet doesn’t become a smoking ruin. Tesla’s sustainable living house comes at a very cheap price, way cheaper than a Model 3.

You could become a landlord for cheap, then save up your future rent money and buy your EV later! The Sustainable Living House. On June 14, 2021, Musk announced that he would sell his home and make his primary residence a sustainable home in Boca Chica. Musk is a significant player on Earth. He is the wealthiest man in the world and is also in charge of creating world-class, cutting-edge technology. His newest project is Tesla's new tiny house for sustainable living.

Musk recently unveiled the tiny house, which would be crammed without all the cutting-edge technology you would expect in a sustainable environment. Musk lives in a Boxabl Casita. The Boxabl Casita is a prefabricated home that hasn't hit the mainstream market yet, but its producers hope it will soon, alleviating the housing shortage.

Boxabl is headed by Paolo Tiramani. In November 2021, the company posted a video on YouTube announcing that it had recently constructed a Casita house in Boca Chica for a high-profile and top-secret customer. Although nobody was named in the video, Boca Chica was a pretty tranquil quiet place before Elon Musk and SpaceX set up shop there. So it wasn't long before people figured out that the Boxabl Casita in Boca Chica was delivered for Elon Musk.

According to Galliano Tiramani, the co-founder of Boxabl, there are several reasons why housing has not yet worked in the factory, so we have gone through and resolved all the problems. He also believes that other prefab home manufacturers face the same challenges with shipping logistics. He added that the idea is that this would be targeted toward accessory dwelling units, which are becoming increasingly popular in California. Because of this spark, Boxabl decided to launch the brand in 2017. It aims to transform building construction worldwide into a factory assembly line. Houses would be manufactured just like any other product you can buy, have it shipped to your location, and set up in an hour.

Some processes require lifting equipment during unpacking, but most of the unpacking could be achieved by humans. Once the outer wall has been unfolded, it becomes the floor, and the two side walls are visible. After the roof has been unfolded, the entire structure is covered.

Boxabl Casita is a studio apartment in a box for one or two persons. It has been designed to be environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. In this makeshift house, you will find five rooms, including a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom, and a media room. You also have air conditioning, heating, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, built-in ironing center, microwave, a washer, and dryer. It utilizes low-energy technology, so your monthly energy bills are as little as possible.

Boxabl has taken years of prototyping to ensure that the homes they built are built out of materials that would not degrade. Each boxabl home is built out of steel concrete and EPS foam. The walls, floor, and roofs are made with laminated panels, making them legal for traveling on highways. There are many reasons why many prefer Boxabl houses in this period of home shortage. The biggest reason is the time, cost, and labor efficiency attached to homes built in the factory. Currently, almost fifty thousand people on the company's waitlist have expressed an interest in a Boxabl home.

The lengthy waiting list is not because fans of Elon Musk want to live as he does. Boxabl had already built a waitlist of over 40,000 people before the publicity from Musk's involvement blew up their numbers even more.

The average time it takes for Boxabl to build a house is approximately seven months. Boxabl says connecting the buildings or stacking them to create larger buildings is possible. If you want a larger pre-fabricated building, you might want to wait longer.

Tiramani claims that Musk's interest in the brand has helped generate interest from a wider audience. He has also said that Boxabl intends to build larger units. Boxabl claims that folding homes are essential for maximizing transportation efficiency. These modular homes are 14 feet wide and require escorted trucks with a wide load sign when traveling on the highway.

Boxabl's foldable homes are eight feet wide, so they don't require any special assistance from their users, reducing the shipping cost to any part of the country. You can get free delivery in some states, but you should expect an additional charge if you live in a remote area. Tiramani thinks the way to solve the housing shortage problem is with a technologically oriented solution like Boxabl homes.

The company will be making its first order for the Department of Defense in the coming weeks. The order consists of 156 homes. Boxabl hopes to expand its operations and build more homes in the future. What is Project Panther National? In July 2021, Tesla decided to foray into luxury renewable technologies and also increase its interest in real estate. Musk and Tesla Energy decided to kit out a luxury neighborhood in Florida.

The neighborhood will contain 218 luxury homes, all kitted with solar roofs, EV chargers, and batteries. The community is being developed alongside Centaur Holdings. Panther National will be designed around a golf course in Palm Beach. Panther National is Tesla and Elon Musk's attempt at sustainable living. This is not Tesla's tiny house, but it is a step in the right direction. Musk and Tesla hope that the project will help them understand the real estate market before the production of Tesla's sustainable living house begins. The community will cover 2400 acres, and Max Strang,

a world-renowned architect, based out of Miami, will design each home. After announcing the partnership to build the community, Panther National stated that Tesla Energy's vision aligns with its own.

Panther National said: “Energy independence and sustainable energy generation has always been the driving force behind Tesla’s focus on home energy systems. Tesla’s vision aligns with Panther National, a new residential development in Florida that combines high-end architecture and amenities with a commitment to clean energy.

Tesla plans to install cutting-edge clean energy products throughout the sustainably designed community at Panther National, including Tesla Powerwall+ and Tesla Solar products.” In a statement, Musk spoke about the project. He said, “Neighbourhood solar installations across all housing types will reshape how people live. The feedback we get from the solar and battery products used in this community will impact how we develop and launch new products.”

Tesla is happy to collaborate with Panther National's Development Team since they share the same goals. The team is led by Dominik Senn. Tesla has said that it hopes to install 1000 new solar panels every week. There have been reports that some of its energy customers have been ghosted or had poor experiences with Tesla customer service, but the rollout of sustainable living products continues.

Apart from relocating into a Boxabl Casita, Musk is embarking on some major projects in Texas. Project deals similar to Panther National are being worked on in the cities of Porter and Austin, Texas. Musk is building Starbase, SpaceX's primary operating location, and also a massive 100MW energy storage plant outside of Houston. Musk has also promised to pour 30 million dollars into his new county of residence. Musk sees sustainability as one of Tesla's core values, and the Tesla CEO is trying to reduce his carbon footprint to almost nothing. The tiny house consumes less energy and requires less space than conventional houses,

so it makes sense for Musk to live in one. These tiny houses are durable and withstand the snow loads in 90 percent of North America. In the remaining 10 percent, the Boxabl home can be retrofitted for those heavy snow loads. The Boxabl Casita can accommodate two people, but Musk likely lives with his partner Grimes and their one-year-old son. Tesla's sustainable living home is expected to cost $15,000.
