A leaked showroom video shows the razor-sharp stainless steel vehicle tearing through dirt roads, weaving through fields, and performing some stunning doughnuts.
The announcement comes just days after Tesla's Vice President of Vehicle Engineering, Lars Moravy, acknowledged during the company's Q3 2021 earnings call last week that the Elon Musk-led manufacturer is producing "a handful of Cybertruck prototypes."
"As you may have seen on social media recently, we've developed a number of alphas and are now testing them to further refine the design," he continued.
Additionally, he discussed a different leaked video depicting an early Cybertruck prototype with an incredibly small turning radius. This was made feasible by a new function that enabled the back wheels to point in the opposite direction during the call, which Moravy referred to as "rear steering."
