Tesla's Cyber Rodeo showcased some of the company's planned vehicles, but the Cybertruck undoubtedly stole the show. From its arrival at the site to its presentation in the hours preceding Elon Musk's address to its appearance with Design Chief Franz von Holzhausen later that night, the all-electric pickup truck caught the attention of guests and internet viewers alike.
Several of the Cybertruck's improvements were spotted during its debut at the Cyber Rodeo. These included its modified doors, which Elon Musk demonstrated during his presentation, its upgraded side repeater cameras, which now mimic those seen on Tesla's other vehicles, and what appears to be a concept charging outlet mounted on one of the all-electric pickup truck's fenders. Additionally, a recent video revealed that the Cybertruck demonstrated an upcoming, useful capability during the day.
According to information by the Cybertruck Owner's Club, the Cybertruck displayed its rear-wheel steering capabilities while driving around Giga, Texas. While the footage was brief, one could definitely see the Cybetruck's back wheels moving. The vehicle's modest speed when using rear wheel steering hints at some of the advantages the feature may provide when parking or manoeuvring in tight places.
Elon Musk first disclosed the Cybertruck's back wheel steering capabilities on Twitter last year. Musk noted in his article that the function was developed to ensure that the Cybertruck was capable of making tight bends and manoeuvring with great agility. This was a really prudent move on Tesla's part, especially given the Cybetruck's size. With a wheelbase that exceeds that of the Ford F-150, the Cybertruck is a massive vehicle, and customers are sure to welcome its characteristics that make it more manoeuvrable.
The delivery of the Cybertruck has been delayed while Elon Musk expressed confidence that Tesla would begin handing over the vehicle next year. Tesla's CEO is ecstatic about the all-electric pickup truck, remarking during the Cyber Rodeo that the Cybertruck may be the company's "magnum opus." If any, the truck would undoubtedly include Tesla's most advanced technology to date, such as the Hardware 4.0 computer Musk announced during AI Day. With Hardware 4.0, the Cybertruck would unquestionably be future-proof.
