The Twitter user verified to Drive Tesla that the information came from a person with intimate knowledge of the plans.

While we have not been able to corroborate the storey, Tesla did just get a new Giga Press. Three Giga Press machines have already been installed at the plant, more than enough to begin Model Y manufacturing.

Additionally, a recent drone flyover indicated that foundations for two new Giga Presses had been constructed.

According to drone operator Joe Tegtmeyer, two more Giga Press foundations have been prepared east of the present foundations. Along with the additional foundations, Tesla is installing heavy-duty bridge cranes above the easy bay, indicating that the company anticipates a heavier load on this side of the Giga Press area.
