However, beyond the Cybertruck's flashy exterior, it appears to have a lot of practical features, some of which might make the all-electric pickup truck one of the best campers on the market.

Tesla's recently published design patent disclosed specifics regarding the Cybertruck's seats. The design patent was straightforward, illustrating only the different configurations for the Cybertruck's first and second rows of seats. And, while the front seats of the vehicle described in the patent are quite identical to those in the prototype all-electric pickup truck, the back seats included an unexpected element.

According to the design patent, the Cybertruck's rear seats would fold 60/40. There are a lot of advantages to such a design. For starters, folding the back seats would provide Cybertruck drivers with immediate and unrestricted access to the vault. This might significantly increase the utility of the all-electric pickup truck by allowing drivers to move large objects that would not fit in the vehicle's 6.5-foot bed otherwise.

However, it is not all work and no play, as the Cybertruck's folding rear seats appear to be ideal for in-car camping. Tesla has not promoted the Cybertruck as an adventure or lifestyle vehicle, although it is likely that some of its customers will utilise it as such. Tesla's are ideal for camping trips. Due to their enormous batteries, they were able to maintain a comfortable cabin temperature without incurring a major range penalty. Tesla has even added camping-specific features to its electric cars, such as the company's popular Camp Mode.
