Tesla appears to have made some changes to the Model S's centre screen. The vehicle's console is centred around an infotainment screen. The motorised screen appears to have been improved with the ability to swivel its display.

The claimed update was seen for the first time by a Tesla owner in Taiwan. Images posted on Twitter revealed the company's new Model S and Model X vehicles at its store. While consumers were not permitted to enter the vehicles, the infotainment screens looked to be angled toward the driver's seat.

In another video, Larry Li, a Tesla owner, explains how to activate the Model S's swivelling centre display using the vehicle's user interface.

As news of the new feature spread on social media, several Tesla owners confirmed that their vehicles were equipped with the tilted screen option.

"Just received unequivocal confirmation from a Tesla source that the latest Model S and Model X vehicles being constructed include the long-awaited center-screen tilting functionality," Ryan McCaffrey, presenter of the unofficial Tesla podcast Ride the Lightning, tweeted. Or, at the very least, the hardware necessary to do it. Presumably, a future software upgrade will enable it in the user interface. "

Tesla, on the other hand, has yet to publicly acknowledge the launch of the new swivelling screen feature.
