Tesla is determined to begin manufacturing of the Cybertruck, but the exact date is unknown. The most recent estimate is early 2023, though there is a chance it will launch this year. However, progress on the electric pickup continues, as evidenced by this prototype photographed by a Tesla employee, which appears to be nearly ready for production.
It features a single windscreen wiper with a vertical rest position (much more seamlessly integrated than previously), located directly next to the left A-pillar, a pair of large traditional side mirrors that appear to be unpainted plastic, no visible door handles, wheels that resemble the Model 3's Aero set (minus the aero covers), and an intriguing possibility for the trunk opening.
According to some, the vehicle appears to be slightly smaller than the one Tesla initially demonstrated, and this may be true. However, rumours suggest that the manufacturer may offer two versions of the Cybertruck. Perhaps Tesla chose not to do so and instead created a single Cybertruck that is not quite as large as the study, but also not 20% smaller as the rumour stated.

Tesla may have also lowered the front end's size, hence increasing the windscreen's size. It appears as though there is no means to open the trunk, but the vehicle will undoubtedly have one, and it has been speculated that the entire front end will lift out of the way (light bar and all), creating a clamshell design. At least in this one shot from the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, we can't exactly see the seams where the hole is located, but it must open somehow.
Additionally, this Cybertruck's front bumper features a larger aperture, and the entire bumper looks to be slightly larger and lower than before. This definitely helps with its aerodynamic characteristics, but it also likely limits its off-road approach angle, although we can't tell just how much lower the bumper is.
It also doesn’t have any kind of visible door handles, even though some older prototypes did feature them. The original research included flush door handles that sprang out when the vehicle was unlocked, but it appears Tesla has abandoned that design, which confirms the rumours.

Regarding the wheels, we’re not sure what size they are—the tyres don’t look like they are 35-inch, so we say maybe they’re a bit smaller, possibly 33-inch. And the rims may be the ones sold with the vehicle, but they will almost certainly receive some form of aero cover to match the vehicle's appearance.
