Tesla Motors has increased its services over the last decade or so to provide practically everyone with an electric vehicle that meets their demands. The more affluent Model S and X cater to the upper crust, while the Model 3 and Y deliver Tesla's technology and innovation to millions more. But don't forget that the company began with a sports automobile. The Roadster was Tesla's first production automobile, based on the Lotus Elise.

Elon Musk's automobile company has promised a reinvented version since then. However, it does not appear to be coming any time soon, much like the Cybertruck. While we wait for the next Roadster, which is already extremely attractive, one artist has imagined what a true hypercar Roadster would look like.

The Tesla hypercar, designed by Khyzyl Saleem, a 26-year-old concept artist, is a remarkable design. Its headlights are borrowed from the aforementioned Roadster, and it bears the brand's corporate visage up front. The hypercar has a ground-hugging front spoiler that gives it some considerable presence. The sculpted hood transitions to a clean roofline with a short tail.

The overall silhouette mimics modern mid-engined supercar designs. If something like this were to arrive from Tesla, it would obviously be battery-powered, but the overall silhouette mimics contemporary mid-engined supercar designs. Large side vents, positioned right in front of the rear wheels, would likely be used to cool the radiators and prevent overheating.

The Tesla hypercar render's back end is undoubtedly the most eye-catching part of the overall design. It has an aggressive stance, sitting low and wide and with large tyres bursting out of the rear wheel arches. The rear bumper is sharp, and a pair of fang-like design components in the centre give the would-be hypercar a frightening appearance.

While Tesla's existing range is great, we'd love to see this hypercar enter the lineup as a sort of halo vehicle. That leaves only one gap in the lineup: a pair of elegant waggons for individuals who choose not to drive an SUV. Thankfully, a Model 3 waggon has already been created, and it's nearly as beautiful as the white-painted masterpiece seen above.

Hopefully, the millionaire from South Africa has seen these renderings and is paying attention. According to the positive response to both, they would increase the brand's global popularity and give it a fighter to compete with electric rivals like the Rimac Nevera and future battery-powered Lamborghini models.
