At the event, Musk, who appeared at the event wearing dark sunglasses and a black cowboy hat, said, "We're going to talk about the past, the present, and the future," as he displayed Tesla's first automobile, the Roadster.



Musk claimed that Tesla vehicles now account for two-thirds of all electric vehicles sold in the United States and lauded the Tesla AI team's efforts. Additionally, the millionaire CEO added that the Tesla Giga Texas is taller than the Burj Khalifa when turned on its side and could house 194 billion hamsters.



Elon Musk asserted, "The (Giga Texas) structure is the most advanced automobile factory the Earth has ever seen." He noted that the company has also begun manufacturing 4680 batteries in-house at its Austin factory, which could eventually become one of the world's largest cell factories.



"We're going to scale to a level that no firm has ever attained in the history of civilization," Musk stated. Musk stated when outlining the primary activities of Tesla's planned gigafactory, "Raw materials in, a bunch of stuff happens, and a car comes out," when outlining the gigafactory's primary activities.The Model Y crossover car and the Cybertruck will be manufactured by Giga Texas.
