The majority of the major product releases are a bit late. The event was moved from August 19 to September 30. The date was pushed back because of the possibility of a prototype by that time. One of the key topics that will be discussed and showcased by the company and its executives will be the humanoid robot from Tesla. The promotional images for the event include an announcement poster, tickets to the event, and final teases that have been posted online.

The prototype that would be showcased later in the year would not be the same as the display units that the company featured in the past. During the Cyber Rodeo, for example, Tesla set up a display model for the humanoid robot that looks similar to the concept images and videos that were released on Artificial Intelligence Day 2021. It was no surprise that Musk commented as some of the videos featured the humanoid robot's hands. The polished, humanlike hands that were fitted on the display units of the product were depicted differently than the polished, humanlike hands that were depicted in the concept videos and photos. One set of robotic hands seemed completely made of metal and another set appeared more refined, with soft pads in some sections.

Improvements have already been made to the humanoid robot and its components, and it seems that the company has been working on it for some time now. Considering the intended use for the humanoid robot, it makes sense that the hard work was done by Tesla. According to the CEO, the Tesla Bot is designed to be capable of both hard labor and domestic tasks such as taking care of the elderly. The Tesla Bot's hands need to be extremely refined, so that the robot can perform various tasks as seamless and humanlike as possible
