The Hubble Space Telescope captured an intriguing topic during its most recent encounter: three galaxies were bonded together. The scientists surmised that there was a magical connection between them based on their interactions.

Occasionally, galaxies tend to cluster together. This means that each of them may behave as if their gravitational fields are connected. In some instances, this may cause disruption to another, which is why a variety of forms are feasible.

In unexpected situations, galaxies may join together, yet they may also annihilate one another.

Hubble Space Telescope Discovers Three Unusual Galaxies Inspired by 'Star Trek'

Through the Hubble Space Telescope, the scientists observed three galaxies being drawn together.

According to a report by Digital Trends, the Hubble Space Telescope's crew stated that the photo's upper right corner has two colliding galaxies.

The researchers noted in a statement that the long trails of stars and gas emanating from them create the appearance that they have been struck at high speed and thrown into disarray by the bowling-ball-shaped galaxy to the lower left of the image.

The experts highlighted that the interactions do take place over extended periods of time. Collisions between galaxies are also considered an uncommon occurrence.

There is currently no explanation for why the galaxy on the lower left is interacting with the other two entities.

Influence of 'Star Trek' on Galaxies

Additionally, the dramatic photograph obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope may be of interest to those who frequently read or watch science fiction films or television shows. According to the Hubble team, the combined name of the three galaxies, NGC 7764A, may be inspired by "Star Trek."

Specifically, the experts indicated that they were referring to the USS Enterprise spacecraft from the popular science fiction film franchise.

In reference to "Star Trek," the researchers discovered another discovery in outer space that addressed this subject. According to a similar allegation from Digital Trends, an orbiter roamed around Mars a few years ago.

On Mars, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) captured photographs of an odd-looking sand dune. The planetary machine was able to snap into its distinct shape using the High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera. Its shape was reminiscent of the Starfleet emblem from the same film.

Aerial Views of Chamaeleon from the Hubble Space Telescope

According to another NASA publication, the Hubble Space Telescope observed a star-forming zone. The Chamaeleon Cloud Complex is where the researchers observed "dazzling reflection nebulae" based on blue-lit stars and Herbig-Haro objects, or radiant knots.

In another piece, Tech Times reported that the same satellite observatory captured minute photos of irregular galaxies. Three of them were discovered as a result of this, notably NGC 1569, NGC 4449, and NGC 5408.
