Following Kid Rock's recent decision to exclude Bud Lite from his planned global tour, Twitter CEO Elon Musk has announced a ban on the beer brand from the social media network.

Musk, who is well-known for his passion for space travel and electric vehicles, has frequently criticised woke culture and has made news for his contentious tweets. Musk recently ruled that Bud Lite was no longer acceptable on the platform in a tweet.

Musk wrote, "Bud Light is banned from Twitter as of right now. No woke beer brands on this platform any more. We support Kid Rock's "No Bud-Light Tour" in full.

Fans of Bud Lite are outraged by the decision, and many have vented their frustration on Twitter.

"Elon Musk now, after Kid Rock first? A user tweeted, "What's next, a restriction on oxygen?"

Others criticised Musk for encouraging risky and reckless conduct, saying the multibillionaire businessman should pay more attention to the most urgent problems that the world is currently facing.

Another user responded, "Instead of banning beer, how about you focus on cutting carbon emissions and saving the earth."

Despite the criticism, Musk has stuck to his guns and declared that he will not permit woke brands to use his platform.

The woke mob won't be able to silence us, stated Musk in a statement. We will not be silenced by the Bud Light establishment because Twitter is a platform for free expression and open discussion.

It is unclear how this restriction will impact Bud Lite sales or Twitter usage, but one thing is certain: the conflict between outspoken conservatives and woke brands is far from over.
