Musk, well-known for his controversial tweets, criticised Anheuser Busch's advertising strategies as "stale" and "outdated." He stated that the company's use of Clydesdale horses in advertisements was a "waste of resources."

The tweets rapidly went viral, sparking a heated discussion among beer enthusiasts and marketing experts.

Some individuals defended Anheuser-Busch's marketing strategy by citing its extensive history and cultural significance. Others concurred with Musk, contending that the company needed to update its brand to remain competitive.

In response, Anheuser Busch CEO Michel Doukeris announced that the company's marketing efforts would be redirected.

"We recognise that our advertising has become stale and predictable," said Doukeris. "We want to take this opportunity to thank our former marketing team for their contributions, but it's time for us to evolve and embrace new ideas."

Reactions to the decision to lay off the complete marketing department have been mixed. Some have praised the company's audacious action, calling it an essential step towards innovation.

Others have criticised the decision, contending that it was an exaggerated response to a few tweets from a single user.

Elon Musk, meanwhile, has not apologised for his remarks. "I stand by what I have said," he tweeted. Anheuser-Busch must improve its performance if it wishes to compete in the current market. Let's just say I have a greater use for the Clydesdale horses."

Unknown is the future course of Anheuser-Busch's marketing initiatives. Nonetheless, it is undeniable that the beer behemoth has captured the public's attention with its bold move.
