The hosts of The View talked about Tuesday's historic arrest and arraignment of former president Donald Trump.
Trump, the first sitting or former president of the United States to ever be charged with a felony, entered a "not guilty" plea to all 34 charges brought against him in a courtroom in Lower Manhattan.

How are you feeling about a historic day, Whoopi Goldberg questioned her co-hosts as she introduced the subject? Even if it's upsetting, I'm happy that something is moving forward.
Joy Behar quickly disagreed with Goldberg's sentiment, saying, "It's not sad, what's sad?"
"Well, I'm sad that, in that [it is] an American president," said Goldberg.
Behar added, "It's not sad that he's being called in for questioning and other things, and that he's being indicted because he committed certain crimes; that's American justice.
Goldberg continued, "I don't think any of us could have really imagined this. It's the first time in any of our lifetimes."

Sunny Hostin retaliated this time by claiming, "I imagined it."
When Goldberg answered, "With him, no, but I mean with other presidents," he was being sarcastic.
Goldberg apologised last month after referring to Trump with an outdated insult.
"At a certain age, you start using terms that you remember saying or knowing from when you were a child, and today was one of those days. And I shouldn't have," admitted Goldberg, 67.
People of Romani descent are frequently called gy****s, and the outdated term gy***d is a prevalent insult used against them.
The former president is facing felony charges in connection with a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
