- Elon Musk told China did not approve of his decision to send Starlink to Ukraine.
- According to Musk, the communist country has also ordered the billionaire not to market Starlink in China.
China disapproved of Musk's decision to send Starlink to Ukraine. Beijing asked for a promise from the billionaire that he wouldn't sell Starlink in China. Musk sent a shipment of Starlink satellite internet dishes to Ukraine after Russia invaded it. It was the first of many shipments to the country that has helped Ukraine stay connected amid Russia's attacks and a hack on the satellite provider for its military. Early on, Ukraine officials and military leaders praised the move, with a US general saying Starlink " destroyed Putin's information campaign" and attempts to silence Zelenskyy.

The Starlink devices of the Ukrainian forces have been down recently. Roman Sinicyn, a co-ordinator at a foundation that donates Starlink systems to the Ukrainian armed forces, told the publication that the outages are the result of representatives from SpaceX trying to prevent Russians from using the technology. Musk activated Starlink in Iran after protests over the death of a woman in police custody. The Iranian police denied that Amini was mistreated. Starlink is available in about 40 countries, but not in China. According to Chinese state media, the company does not have plans to apply for an operating license in China. Only state-owned providers are allowed to provide internet service in China. China is the largest electric-car market in the world.
Musk opened a factory in China. The factory has become a main export hub. Half of the world's deliveries came from China. The billionaire has praised China in the past and recently wrote an article for China's internet regulators. Musk wrote in the article that Chinese companies would be a force to be reckoned with in the cause of energy innovation. The billionaire appeared hesitant to comment on the growing tensions between the US and China, but he believes there will eventually be a conflict with the communist country over Taiwan. "Apple will be in very deep trouble, that's for sure," Musk said, noting he believes the global economy will plummet by 30%. The billionaire said that the Shanghai factory will be able to sell cars in China.

The billionaire said last week that the citizens of the occupied territories should vote on which country they want to live in. His suggestion was met with a lot of criticism. Zelenskyy mocked Musk's attempt to solve a real-world crisis. Zelenskyy asked, "Which elon musk do you like more?" One who supports the country. A person who supports Russia. Musk's comments on Ukraine were criticized by Hu. "Elon Musk has released his personality too much, and he believes too much in the US and West's 'freedom of speech'." Hu wrote that he would be taught a lesson.
