Former Twitter executive David Sacks and Jack Dorsey are favourites to succeed Musk as CEO.

Users of the social media platform were asked if Musk should step down as the company's CEO. More than 17 million votes were cast in the poll. 5% of them were in favor of Musk stepping down. Later comments from Musk indicated that he would be stepping down as CEO once he found a person that was competent and foolish enough to take on the job.

It was no surprise that a list of favored candidates for Musk's successor were online. The sports betting community has come up with new odds for potential candidates. Sriram Krishnan is the favorite at odds of 3/1.

This could be due to the fact that Krishnan is one of the people Musk trusts. Krishnan has a 25% chance of becoming Musk's replacement, according to the sports betting publication. David Sacks is a member of Musk's inner circle. Both Sacks and Musk were members of thePayPal Mafia, a group of executives who ended up founding some of Silicon Valley's most prolific tech businesses. Sacks is giving up a chance of becoming the next CEO of the company.

Jack Dorsey is a favorite to become Musk's replacement.There is an 11% chance that Dorsey will get the post. There are other notable names that are favored as the next CEO of the company.
