Kevin O'Leary of "Shark Tank" said that the demand for "ugly" pickup trucks would likely lead to another big shift for the electric vehicle maker. This was despite the Cybertruck being an ugly vehicle. The demand for the all-electric pickup truck is substantial, at least based on his investments in companies that are providing some technology for the Cybertruck.

It is an interesting vehicle. It has a really ugly look. It is interesting. I have investments in providers that are providing technology for that truck.

The demand is huge and the Cybertruck is unlike any other vehicle on the road. Setting up the Cybertruck's production line was no small task. The margins on the Cybertruck could be high once the production of the vehicle is maximized. Since they announced the truck, they have had a lot of efficiency in manufacturing costs.

The orders for the Cybertruck suggest that the futuristic pickup truck could be a success. The total number of reservations for the Cybertruck has broken the 1.5 million barrier according to media estimates.
