According to the report, Katie, who manages the All Electric Family YouTube channel, contacted us to inform us that the family intends to resume video production shortly. They have placed an order for a Rivian R1T Launch Edition, which is expected to arrive in May or June. Yet it is possible that it will occur later. They've also placed an order for a Ford F-150 Lightning, so they're waiting to see how everything comes together. Regardless, it will be fantastic to watch the family filming future videos in a new electric pickup truck.
Katie also alerted us to the first used R1T she's come across for sale. It's not surprising that it's a high-priced Launch Edition model, and the online vehicle sales website states that it's the first in the country to offer the R1T for sale used, which means you can get a Rivian immediately. Additionally, it has only 133 miles on the odometer.
Obviously, the R1T Launch Edition is no longer available. Additionally, if you order a new R1T now, you will not only have to wait a long time for delivery, but you will also pay more than the vehicle originally cost. That said, it won't cost you $139,900 as Charged Automotive is asking for this R1T. However, we did configure a top-of-the-line, fully outfitted R1T for approximately $122,000.
The Rivian R1base T's price is currently around $80,000, up from a launch price of $67,500. Later this year, new base models will be introduced that will maintain the previous pricing structure. However, the cheapest versions with a dual-motor arrangement and a conventional battery pack will not be available until 2024.
