While Tesla is churning out the Model S, 3, X, and Y electric vehicles at a breakneck pace, we're still waiting for the Tesla Cybertruck, Roadster, and Semi. However, Elon Musk has made a bold assertion that they will all arrive next year.
For those who forget, Tesla has introduced several intriguing automobiles over the years. Regrettably, three of them have been plagued by delays, but that may soon change.
In 2017, Tesla debuted the Semi electric truck and the highly anticipated next-generation Roadster. The business stated at the time that they would be available in 2019 and 2020. They're still missing, but hopefully we'll see the next-generation roaster on the market shortly.
The Tesla Cybertruck made its debut in 2019, with a price tag of $39,900. As you are probably aware, neither of those things occurred. Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, announced in January that no new vehicles would be released this year and that the Cybertruck would "hopefully" debut next year. That is three years late.
While Tesla's more economical Model 3 and Model Y are receiving the most attention at the moment, if the CEO's recent words are to be believed, next year will be a watershed year for Tesla.
Tesla formally unveiled its gigantic new Gigafactory in Texas this week during what the company dubbed the "Cyber Rodeo." A facility capable of producing a large number of automobiles. Elon Musk promised a tremendous wave of new items while on stage, which should delight any EV enthusiast.
“Production of Cybertruck is coming next year. We will be in production with Roadster and with Semi. That’s all coming. This year is all about scaling up, and next year there’s going to be a massive wave of new products.” — Tesla CEO, Elon Musk.

If that assertion is correct, Tesla will use the remainder of 2022 to complete its designs, ramp up manufacturing, and fine-tune all of its processes before releasing a big wave of automobiles. Of course, we've heard similarly grandiose promises in the past, so only time will tell.
Which vehicle excites you more: the long-awaited Roadster or the striking Tesla Cybertruck? Tesla has a lot of work ahead of it with all the new competition in the EV industry. From the Rivian R1T to the F-150 Lightning to the insanely powerful Hummer EV, there is something for everyone. The Cybertruck will be playing catch-up when it arrives, so the sooner the better.
