The latest interior upgrades to the Tesla Cybertruck are shown for the first time.

The Tesla Cybertruck made a cameo at the Elkhorn Battery Energy Storage System ceremonial ribbon-cutting in Moss Landing, California earlier today.

The Cybertruck was photographed and videotaped, but unlike earlier sightings of the electric truck, we did not get to glimpse the new interior.

Thankfully, KSBW Action News 8 was on site to capture the event and provide us with our first glance at the updated interior of the Cybertruck.

The fit and finish, as expected for what we assume to be an Alpha model, is nowhere near what we should expect in the production version, but it does give us a solid indication of what to expect in terms of design.

The most noticeable alteration is to the dashboard of the Cybertruck, which no longer has the white marble finish seen on the prototype, instead opting for a more traditional style and feel.

We also got a glimpse of the extra display placed behind the yoke steering wheel on the Model S and Model X.

This Cybertruck also has somewhat different pedals that are more squared-off than the ones it currently uses, and the driver's seat lacks lumbar support controls, but this is likely to save money on pre-production units and will be included for the production version.

Another fascinating but not unexpected finding in these photos is that Tesla has yet to build a working version of its software for the Cybertruck.

We can see they're utilising the Model X software on the central display, with an image of the back of the vehicle and controls to unlock the doors and trunk. This could imply that the Cybertruck will have automatic doors as well.
