The long-haul trucking segment is completely different from the consumer vehicle market. Some trucking veterans have doubts about the all-electric Class 8 truck. The Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG Martin Daum commented that the Class 8 truck and its targets violate the laws of physics after the Semi was unveiled.
