The RAM 1500 Revolution battery electric vehicle concept was revealed by the Ram Truck brand. The next-gen design and exciting features of the all-electric RAM pickup has generated some buzz in the market. The 1500 Revolution BEV is a strong contender in the pickup truck market.

RAM 1500 REVOLUTION BEV DETAILS

The RAM 1500 Revolution BEV will be built on Stellantis’ STLA Frame EV platform, designed to deliver a range of up to 500 miles (800 km)

The STLA Frame platform is a body-on-frame. In the past, it was planned to use 2 battery cell chemistries. If the company wants the RAM 1500 Revolution to qualify for tax incentives, it will have to consider the starting price. Digital side-view mirrors are included in the RAM 1500 Revolution concept. There's a smart backup camera, speakers and receivers compatible with voice assistants, and a rearview mirror that's packed with tech. The RAM 1500 Revolution has a review mirror that is connected to cameras. With its EV pickup concept, RAM plans to take advantage of the most useful tech innovations on the market.

Motor Trend named Ford's all-electric pickup the Pickup Truck of the Year. It was the first electric pickup to win an award. The Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Michigan is ramping up production of the F-150. The F-150 Lightning was supposed to have an annual manufacturing capacity of 40,000 units. Since Ford doubled its manufacturing capacity for the Lightning to 80,000 vehicles annually, demand for the electric pickup seems to be strong. The electric pickup truck market is starting to take shape. The EV pickup truck market is likely to see more competitors in the future, like Volkswagen's Scout pickup.
