Sunday, November 27, 2022 | Chimniii Desk

The drone footage was taken by Joe Tegtmeyer. Tegtmeyer shared his take on the new construction with updated maps after taking the footage on Friday. The maps show a lot of Texas. The map on the right is a construction map of Texas. There are several construction zones highlighted in the photo. There are a lot of construction areas on the property, as well as new construction that will be started soon.

In the video, he quickly analyzed each construction area. One example is the warehouse on wheels concept, which uses trailers to store parts instead of storing them inside of the main factory. Tegtmeyer said this saves time for truck drivers delivering and dropping off trailers. The section plays a major role in the construction of Giga Texas. Texas Road is being widened in addition to the changes at Texas Giga. There was a large number of steel materials deposited recently, but the brown materials had been there for a long time. I am not sure what role that plays.

A new building is being built on the west side of the plant. A single-story building with water management and storage capability has been granted a building permit by the City of Austin. Large underground pipes are most likely to be trenched on the left side. The company is doing soil tests. Tegtmeyer noted that the image below shows what the building may look like once it is completed. Tegtmeyer shared his thoughts on what the tunnel may look like after noting that there was a permit to build it. He looked at two images.

A slide in the video shows a tunnel with a Boring Company number on it. The other showed the location of the tunnel. The battery plant is underneath the Colorado River and there is a small island that you can see in the larger photo. He said it was more than 2,000 feet or 800 meters in length. The tunnel could be used by the public to visit a road in Area 7 and then have access to the property. Below you can watch Tegtmeyer's full analysis.
