When a pedestrian got out of their automobile, Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta vehicle reacted immediately. The pedestrian on the right side of the automobile can be seen opening the door and getting out in a video released by @WholeMarsBlog. Tesla's FSD Beta responded quickly, and it took place in less than 7 seconds.

In a second tweet, he added the following thought. "A human motorist may readily overlook this... Now that we have the capability, every car will always have a second pair of eyes driven by AI. It changes the game. Although I don't own or drive a car, I have seen Tesla's FSD Beta in operation. Gail Alfar was utilising FSD Beta earlier this month when I was in Austin. The software, which is powered by artificial intelligence, avoids calamities with amazing speed.

Gail and I were probably taken aback when FSD appeared to understand that a pedestrian was motioning for us to proceed as they attempted to cross the street. Software either detected the wave or discerned that the person wasn't planning to cross. Along with turning away, the pedestrian went back to the median where they were standing. Seeing that was quite great.

ELON MUSK DISCUSSES HOW AUTOPILOT & FSD WERE INSPIRED.

“One of the things that really convinced me that we need to go as fast as possible with autonomy was that we had a Tesla owner in the Bay Area–he fell asleep at the wheel and ran over a cyclist and killed the cyclist. And I was like, ‘well, if that car had been on Autopilot, that cyclist would still be alive. So we got to hustle and make Autopilot work.'”
