The all-electric pickup is set to begin limited production in a few months, based on projections from last year. There were reports last year that the Cybertruck would be limited in production. During the Q3 Earnings Call in October, CEO Musk said that Cybertruck production was getting closer to Texas.

We have the most exciting product portfolio of any company on the planet, some of which you have heard about, some of which you haven't. We are in the last lap. The packs for the Cybertruck will be built in Northern California, while the manufacturing will take place in Texas.

Production does not have a definitive start date, but the company seems to be interested in offering more details about its upcoming next-generation vehicle platform, as Investor Day is slated for March. There could be an update on Cybertruck production.
