Tesla has constructed more than 1,200 Supercharger stations and more than 8,700 Superchargers in Mainland China since January 2022.

Additionally, Tesla erected 1,800 destination charging heaps and 700 destination charging stations nationwide in a variety of hotels, resorts, dining establishments, retail stores, and office buildings. The most thrilling locations have Supercharger stations for Tesla in China. For instance, there are 11 Supercharger stations between Chengdu and Tingri that go to Mount Everest's base camp.

Tesla reported installing more than 1,000 Supercharger stations with more than 8,000 Superchargers across China by December 2021. Tesla has posted on Weibo the expansion of the Supercharger Network in Mainland China. In the first half of 2022, Tesla China erected around 200 stations and 700 Supercharger stalls, based on its existing size.

To support its constantly expanding fleet of vehicles and other non-Tesla EVs, the EV manufacturer has been working hard to increase its Supercharger Network's coverage throughout the world. Tesla has made Supercharger stations available to other EVs in Europe.

"We are carrying out our global expansion goals more quickly. During the Q3 2021 earnings call, Tesla's SVP of Powertrain and Energy Engineering Drew Baglino stated that the network had doubled in size over the previous 18 months and that it was expected to triple in the following two years.

As usual, Tesla appears to be aggressively investigating ways to install Superchargers more quickly, including experimenting with prefabricated chargers. Prefabricated Superchargers were transported to Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca by a Tesla Semi last week.
