The Cybertruck was given a seal of approval after a production test. This was teased by Musk, who said that he recently reviewed the all-electric pickup truck and that it would be his personal vehicle. The Cybertruck is worth the wait according to Musk.

I was just looking at the production version of Cybertruck. Musk said that the CEO's comment about a production alpha Cybertruck boded well for the upcoming pickup. Prior to Musk's post, most of the vehicle's depictions involved either the initial Cybertruck prototype that was unveiled back in 2019, or an alpha prototype with no door handles, different wheels, and a large windshield wiper. Most of the prototypes are representative of the final product that will enter production.

With this in mind, it would seem that the Cybertruck has been finalized and is just about ready for production. The Model Y release candidates were spotted multiple times by EV enthusiasts before its deliveries started. The all-electric pickup truck would only be in initial production this year, with its ramp happening in 2024 according to the CEO. I try to downplay the start of production because it is very slow.

It is always very slow at first. I wouldn't put a lot of thought into the beginning of production. When volume production actually happens is next year, according to Musk.
