Rivian's top-of-the-line R1T has four motors, one for each wheel, with a combined output of 835 horsepower and 908 pound-feet (1,231 Nm), which enables it to accelerate from 0 to 60 in less than 3.3 seconds, faster than most sports cars. Another advantage of the R1T is its remarkable ability to transmit electricity to the ground, no matter the surface.

As a result, it ought to perform admirably in a tractor pull. In this video we spotted on Reddit, it may not be as as impressive as a rig specifically made for the job (which may have more engines than the R1T has motors), but it looks incredibly effective.
Since the uploader Anxious Indicator doesn't explain where, when, or why the R1T was hooked to the tractor pull trailer, we are unable to ascertain the context of this video. The Rivian appeared to have no trouble making the entire pull appear effortless, even when it came to braking at the very end.

This makes us think of the other Reddit video where an R1T appears to carry something huge effortlessly. The electric truck is seen in the video assisting a semi-tractor that was unable to escape a ditch, and it does so incredibly smoothly, leading many to speculate that the scene may have been faked. It may have sparked rumours in that direction because it occurred in Normal, Illinois, the hometown of Rivian.
Could this tractor pull video be a similar thing, perhaps sponsored or authorised by Rivian as a covert marketing strategy? We can't really say, but the only thing these two films have in common is that they portray the R1T favourably. Until a video of the R1T failing in some way appears on Reddit, there may be suspicion that Rivian may be responsible.
