The Cybertruck has been the subject of numerous rumours, but it is unclear when Tesla consumers will be able to purchase one. Numerous other automakers have created their own electric trucks since Tesla first debuted its design. As a result, the Cybertruck is still being developed and is up against a lot of competition. The Chevrolet Silverado EV, Rivian R1T, the Hummer EV, the Ford F-150 Lightning, and further models are in development are available to consumers.
Despite slipping behind, interest in Tesla's future truck is still high. The business took advantage of this by selling supporters a Cybertruck Whistle for $50. A $100 toy version of the vehicle was also made available by Mattel; it had a top speed of 12 mph. People are enthusiastic about the Cybertruck even though it hasn't yet been released on the market.
Despite multiple postponements over the past three years, Elon Musk stated during the Cyber Rodeo event in April 2022 that the manufacture of Tesla's Cybertruck will begin in 2023. Given the several delays, it's difficult to determine if that will happen, although that launch date is the most recent one. Prices for the Single Motor RWD, Dual Motor AWD, and Tri-Motor were rumoured to be $39,900, $49,900, and $69,900, respectively, as of the end of 2021. Price details for the Quad Motor have not yet been disclosed. Unfortunately, the official Tesla Cybertruck page does not include any cost details.Consumers can, however, pre-order the car for $100. They only have to give their name, email address, phone number, and zip code, along with their credit card information.

The website has a picture of the truck with its back opened to reveal a sunroof and several shelves for versatility, but there isn't much information on this. Additionally, a fuzzy interior shot with six black seats was displayed on the website. It also mentions the extra storage space found beneath the second-row seats. It differs slightly from the prototype that arrived at the Moss Landing, California, facility of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) in June 2022. The chairs are a duller shade of grey. The prototype's straightforward automobile dashboard is contrasted with the one on the website's marble dashboard. It's not entirely apparent how accurate these representations of the anticipated car will be because the majority of the website's pictures are a touch hazy.
High-Performance Cybertruck Trims
The Cybertruck's battery is largely unknown, however Tesla revealed that a 250-kW charging connection would be included. There has been no official statement regarding the mileage, however the Tri-Motor is anticipated to travel 500 miles on a single charge and the Dual Motor 300 miles. Given that the Model S has a 405-mile range, that is quite astounding. The Ford F-150 Lightning and the Hummer EV are the only other EV trucks currently available, and both are predicted to travel 230 and 350 miles respectively on a single charge. The high-class Cybertrucks will benefit consumers much if they achieve their anticipated mileage. Sadly, at an estimated 250 miles, the entry-level is far from ideal.
The Towing Capacity & Performance of Cybertruck Are Outstanding

The Single Motor variant can tow 7,500 lbs, which is a respectable amount. The Tri-Motor can lift up to 14,000+ lbs, while the Dual Motor can lift up to 10,000 lbs. Additionally, the Tri-Motor has a top speed of 130 mph and a 2.9-second zero to 60 time. The other two versions lack a little bit of power. Although the speed is unknown, the Single Motor can reach 60 mph in 6.5 seconds and the Dual Motor in 4.5 seconds. Additionally, Musk stated in December 2021 that the CrabWalk feature would be added to the Cybertruck. This capability allows the Hummer EV to make instantaneous turns like a tank.
Cybertruck Will Receive a Tesla Vision

In April 2022, rumours surfaced that Samsung was developing cameras for Tesla's Autopilot. The contract refers to the biggest EV manufacturer in the US, which was accurate for the brand at the time but omits the name of the EV firm. Additionally, the business is replacing its radar system with a Tesla Vision camera system. The Model 3 and Model Y automobiles already have the system. The Cybertruck is anticipated to receive this system as well. Of course, it should receive the Full Self-Driving beta's most recent features.
Lots of hype but little information

Given the numerous setbacks, it is difficult to predict when the Cybertruck will be available for purchase and what exactly the final product will be. Even still, as of May 2022, there had been approximately 1.5 million pre-orders despite the ambiguity surrounding the release. Sadly, customers may only order the truck in the United States. Due to the fact that it exceeded expectations, all other countries have suspended ordering.
Since not much has been revealed, it is currently impossible to predict whether the EV will live up to expectations. Even the Cybertruck page is lacking in information. A Quad-Motor model has also been confirmed by Musk, although even less information is known about this trim, despite the fact that he stated it would enter production first. However, Tesla excels at ensuring customer satisfaction. Consumers in the U.S. and Europe rate Tesla as the best automobile brand. The best-rated model is the Model 3. Therefore, Musk will probably produce something that his customers like even as his engineers continue to work on the Cybertruck.
